Pho Hoi Riverside Resort’s location is very convenient. It only takes you a 5 minute-walk to the ancient town - the World Cultural Heritage, Hoi An market, post office, bank, beauty spots. “This hotel is good value for money compared to other resorts near by. The location is perfect for walking distance to food, shops and markets. It is about 10minute ride on a scooter or taxi to the beach. The resort is old and tired on the outside with a very basic pool area. The reception and restaurant however are of nice presentation. The rooms are spacious and are modern. The showers however are not very good for western standards! None of the staff speak english so its impossible to communicate!!!!!!! The food and beverages have limtied selection, along with the buffett breakfast and in my opinion poor quality for the price paid. I would stay here again simply for the location and price, but not for luxury or service standards!”

“I stayed with my family (husband and 2 kids) and friends, another family of 4. We enjoyed Hoi An and the Pho Hoi resort so much that we extended our stay to 10 days. We had rooms overlooking the pool and the river, they were very good value and the breakfasts were lovely. All the staff were helpful, friendly and made our stay really enjoyable. Particularly the staff working in the restaurant and kitchen. The location is perfect, far enough away from the middle of town to be peaceful but only a few minutes walk to the centre. I would like to recommend the lady who owns the little stall on the road at the hotel entrance. She hires good quality bikes for $1 per day...a great way to get to the beach, she had little seats welded onto the back for our younger children. She also does laundry and will try to help in any way she can.....she drove me around Hoi An on her motorbike on our last day, when I was desperately seeking bubble wrap for a painting.”
